清朝, 18世紀, 中國外銷品
Height: 15 cm, 5.9 inches
高 15 釐米
The true pair of candlesticks are modelled as birds perched on openwork rockwork bases heads held up with quizzical expressions, standing beside a fluted candlestick holder. The decoration is painted in under glaze blue, the partly unglazed paste to the inside base with characteristic orange peel surface.
